Diya Collection For Diwali

Diwali is one of the important Hindu festivals, which comprises of four consecutive days of celebrations.

A diya or an earthen lamp is synonymous to the festival of Deepavali or Diwali. Diyas adorn every corner of the house on this very auspicious day and add zeal to the festive spirit which is accompanied by a number of delicacies to eat on, bright and new clothes to wear, splash of rangoli on the floor and above all a time for families and friends to get together.

Rangolī with sattvik designs can be drawn outside the door.

Drawing rangoli designs like lotus, swāstik, conch, etc help to attract positive vibrations.

Every day of Diwali represents the conquest of good over evil. The word Diwali is made of two words; deep (lamp or diyas) andavali (row), which means a line or a row of lamps.  During the festival of Diwali lamps are lit in every home and workplace. That is why this festival is also known as the ‘Festival of Lights’.

Nowadays many people light wax candles as they are easier to handle. However do you know that wax does not emit positive rays ? At twilight we can light oil lamps made of clay rather than acrylic or glass to illuminate our homes. We can avoid artificial lighting like relay of electric bulbs or lanterns in the shape of a Star or Chinese lanterns.

Symbolically, the Diwali lamps signify the removal of spiritual darkness and self realization - Realizing the Brahman in all living and non-living forms.

Make this diwali  bright with this decorative diyas and bring auspiciousness to your home!!
